The Creative Time Summit is the leading international conference for artists and organizers working in fields and formats that challenge and highlight the most pressing issues of our times. This year’s convening will take place from November 14-16 in New York City. The multi-day format aims to foster meaningful exchange through a range of programming, including:

  • Thursday, November 14, our opening night celebration where you can mix and mingle with speakers and other attendees
  • Friday, November 15, a full day of wide-reaching, moving, and deeply thought provoking talks at The Great Hall, The Cooper Union, from local and global artists, activists, and thought leaders followed by our dinner program, Summit X Dinners, in the evening.
  • Saturday, November 16, our breakout session program offers a range of workshops, small group conversations, and hands-on learning opportunities led by artists and organizations taking over venues and organizations in the East Village.

Creative Time calls for proposals from artists, activists, and organizers to lead programming for Speaking Truth | Summit X, designed to expand on the speakers' presentations, bring new urgencies into focus, and offer alternative formats for knowledge exchange, discussion, and learning.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS | SUMMIT X SESSIONS

Sessions are intended to offer spaces for exchange and share practical tactics that make creative praxis possible.

  • Sessions will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, and last one hour. Selected session leaders are required to present at the time and location assigned to them by Creative Time.
